Billing & Refunds
Last updated: July 18, 2026
One plan, monthly or annual, cancel whenever. This page spells out exactly how the money side works.
Subscriptions
- Subscriptions are billed in advance through Stripe, monthly or annually, at the prices on the pricing page, plus any applicable taxes.
- Optional add-ons (such as +50 GB storage packs) are billed with your subscription and can be removed at any time, effective the next billing cycle.
- Card processing fees for the payments you take from your own customers are charged by Stripe on your own Stripe account and are separate from your subscription.
Cancellation
You can cancel from your shop's billing settings at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have paid for; you keep full access until then, and you are not billed again.
Refunds
Subscription fees are generally non-refundable, except where the law requires otherwise. That said, we would rather be fair than technical: if you believe you have been billed in error, or something on our side kept you from using the service, contact us at billing@scubashop.io and we will make it right.
Failed payments
If a subscription payment fails we retry and notify you. If it stays unpaid, access to your shop is suspended until payment succeeds; your data is not deleted by a suspension.
Your data after cancellation
- You can export your shop's full data from the app at any time, before or after cancelling.
- After cancellation we keep your shop's data for 90 days so you can come back or finish exporting, then delete it permanently. Encrypted backups age out on their own schedule within about 30 days after that.
Refunds to your customers
Refunds for your shop's own sales (gear, courses, trips) are between you and your customers: you issue them from your register or trip tools, and they settle through your own Stripe account.
